Something happened when I released ‘Born This Way’. Some people responding to the song felt that they didn’t need to nurtured about bullying. This is very revealing to me but what I noticed in the issue was this: for those that are being bullied, know that the problem is not inside of you. Know that it is the insecurity inside the person that is bullying you. And for of you who don’t feel bullied, take it upon yourself to be nurturing. Be a leader, be someone that is kind, audacious, and helps to push the boundaries of love. Be a friend to someone that is bullied. If there is a girl in your class that never gets talked to and that is walking around by herself, be cooler than anybody else. Go sit beside her and know that you a part of the globalization of love around the world.
